(12/28/2006) Our Food Supply: Cloning will not insure we have the safest foodstock. Throughout history, a nation that cannot feed itself, cannot survive. Food dependency is hardly ever mentioned these days. Let me remind you again: The America of today is a "net importer" for our foodstock! Not only do we continue to lose jobs here, we're losing the ability to sustain ourselves with a homegrown food supply! Proof? How America confronts this emerging Asian Military Machine, is of the utmost importance. We must all understand how China sees the future of warfare. Did I fail to mention "Happy New Year?" Please excuse me for that. (12/22/2006) From Our Desk: December 22nd, 2006 - Headline Reads: Alternative Energy Producers will back Hillary Rodham Clinton for the 2008 nomination - I really don't want to get ahead of myself here while Santa is waxing his sled this evening, but damnit, my sources are telling me there's more to come with Hillary and with those producers! Could Big Oil and the "next best thing" (to oil) start to squabble in public? If so, who will benefit from that little conflict, down the road?

America's children must learn we can no longer live as if we will have "infinite growth on a finite planet." (12/20/2006) More On Oil: Why is it we never hear about those huge new oil-finds lately? Can you tell me which oil companies have actually begun drilling for that crude? Remember this: the price at the pump doesn't tell you how much refineable crude is left worldwide! Bush knows oil; he knows where it is, and it's in Iraq. He also knows what tribes work the fields in that region! That should be the #1 question any journalist should be asking here. Was the invasion of Iraq really all about oil? There is only one answer! Secondly, if America loses control of that oil producing region, what happens to the global market on that commodity? Why are these questions never brought up at those White House press conferences?

Do these individuals think we're immune from any terrorist attack? A city located between two Nuclear Power plants, that's off of our shoreline! What's their prevention plan? (12/19/2006) I couldn't refrain from commeenting on these protesters running up the White Flag on our very own United States Coast Guard. It's apparent to anyone that attended their meeting a few months back, and knows what was revealed there. Imagine those angry fishermen that would only be given a 2 hour notice before that "live-fire" training would begin! Or the proximity of being too close to those shipping lanes! And let us not forget all about that toxic lead that would lie at the bottom of our Great Lake! But for a mighty few of us, I sure hope we get the same cooperation from our dreaded enemy who has sworn to kill us. Besides,I have on speed dial the phone number to my esteemed 10th District Congressman. I am sure he can protect me from any attack that may arise from our shoreline. In fact, I'm betting my life on him, am I not?

I compare President Bush to another stubborn fella from the past... General Custer! Back then he tried to either eradicate those Indian tribes, or put them on the reservations. Fast-Forward to today; can you see the comparison? The only real difference here is, there's no reservations to "put them on!" Do you see where we're headed here? What options are left? How is it that they speak of those "huge" reserves and "new-finds" in their forecasts, knowing this one simple fact - it takes twice as much energy to extract it, refine it and transport it safely! Nooooo, my still-so-skeptical friends, you have a better chance of the tooth fairy coming over to your homes and putting a lousy nickel under your pillow, than having "happy days are here again" within this industry!
