Tell them what you want, just don't tell them the Truth- after all, come 2009, it won't matter a damn bit!

The Market: It is without any doubt whatsoever - totally disprotionate to the REAL GROWTH of the economy! America's economy is weak when it comes to real, physical productivity, as the massive and still growing levels of imports of consumer goods would suggest, then one has to conclude the capitalization of the American stock and bond markets is a fiction, and therefore the money that is traveling to the U.S. is literally traveling to a mirage and not the true oasis that many take it for. We live in a "master-servant" economy, don't ever forget it! (Written 12/20/03, posted 12/21/03)The United States is unable to live on its own economic activity and must be subsidized to maintain its level of consumption - at its present cruising speed that subsidy amounts to 1.4 BILLION per DAY, as of April 2003!
Those Oil Contracts: Russia will not let Bush ignore their legal rights to produce oil in Iraq! Lukoil would seem to have the law on its side. Imagine that... the Law! When was the last time you heard anything about the Law, in the Middle East?
The Capture of Saddam Hussein: One down, hundreds of "wanna-be's" to go... armed radicals hell-bent on the destruction of the Jewish State, the West, and the innocents who are simply in the way. The radical Islamists won't stop. Hussein or bin Laden... their ranks are filled with ready replacements.
The next "OJ": Saddam! Just remember...the energy-producers of the world have much work ahead of them. Your life depends on it! The distractions will be many... but not for us. Fighting a radical religious ideology or maximizing profits... these globalists have a job to do, don't they?
Our economic measuring stick, the Gross Domestic Product, is highly distorted. The current system measures the QUANTITIES of economic transactions regardless of their social and environmental impacts or anything else, and it FAILS to register whether those impacts are negative or positive. I compare it to a "terminal cancer patient who is going through a costly divorce." Another example? An earthquake or a hurricane. The most desirable habitat is a mutibillion- dollar Superfund site. All these add to the GDP because they cause money to change hands. Get it? I hope so!
What we regret most in life are not the things we did, but the things we didn't do!
Our InTheNews format: We set it up as fast as we can. The amount of data we recieve daily is non-stop... many question its design or order. I have news for you: there is no order; we hammer the text out as fast as we can. Our webmaster can do only so much. Do you have any idea how much we go through that's fit for print? Just imagine what I don't tell you!
The WTO: Why is it that the only world's super power gets tossed about so easily by this orgainzation? American job losses continue; do not believe those orchestrated statistics about growth. They can make up any number they want! Want an example? When was the last time the Department of Defense was audited? Oh, don't know... how about NEVER! Let's get this straight, globalists love your stupidity!
More on Energy! The fastest growing energy market is for wind power... the cheapest, most plentiful, and cleanest fuel available today: hydrogen gas. America must become energy-independent. The best kept secret: we can! Our foes? Oil and Coal. To me, they are the WMD... for profits. It is time for the goverment to stop subsidizing the destruction of the global environment. Diverting tax credits and subsidies to the commercialization of windmill farms and homebased fuel cells and photovoltaic panels and hydrogen fuel plants would provide the liftoff boost to propel renewable energy into the big league of global industry. Let's get it right, for once!
Senator John Kerry: He never mentions his book throughout the charade of "debates". Just why is that? You HAVE read his book, haven't you?
Dennis Kucinich's Campaign for America: Visit the 10th Congressional District right here in Cleveland, Ohio; then you'll really understand the difference between what's said and what gets accomplished! More socialist schemes? Just how do we fund these programs? Will someone please tell me?
The badass ripple of unemployment: The goverment's cost of supporting increasing unemployment numbers (in spite of what's being reported) will drag down the monies available for other projects. And with a struggling economy, R&D funding will weaken. And with less R&D, fewer new products and fewer jobs will be created! The solution to this? Training programs? How, when most states are facing their own deficits... Those who embraced NAFTA and GATT have a lot of explaining to do... what's worse, and not reported, China and the Pacific Rim are also losing to automation and productivity. Who's gaining? Canada, Spain, Mexico, Taiwan and the Philippines, only by 2%... but thats 2%, right? Interesting times we live in, huh?
We owe today's young people more than overwhelming information... We owe them a solution! After food and shelter, energy is our most basic need. The issue of global warming? Denial of it is much easier than understanding the ecosystem; today the politicans haggle over it... Oil companies know more than you think - I can point to a number of people who will rattle your nerves on this. We need to move qucikly on this; having our fingers crossed just won't get it done!
The Nation's Energy Bill: How much more proof do you need that we have the best goverment money can buy! The utter gall of these special interest groups boggles the mind. In the end, it's always the American people that take the hit. When will it ever end?
Fox News Addicts: Again, a propaganda vehicle that continues its utter bullshit 7/24... what they fail to report grows with each passing day. Real-time reporting? Or, Real-Time Censorship? You decide. And they ain't alone - their spin-cycle is constant!
Could It Be? The politicans are running out of ways to steal the money and the votes... and out of fear, they stay up all night, saying nothing but the same thing to each other! It's a "feel-good" event...
Just what is being recycled as fertilizers these days? We need to hear from farmers, growers and anyone that can document their personal blight with toxic waste being sold as fertilizers. This issue is not new, just very well-hidden, kept out of the public eye and run by some of the most powerful industries we know by name! One other small item: what they don't sell as fertilizers, they repackage as de-icers... for road salt!
California: A prime example of how socialism destroys an economy. Arnold is way out of his league. Can Ohio be far behind?
Modern day Rambos? ...As these politicans conjure up their endless chatter on bringing back the military draft, I can see mercenaries on the battlefields throughout the Middle East!
"There is nothing that is more certain sign of insanity than to do the same thing over and over and over and expect the results to be different." -Einstein.
China's space program: Peekaboo, ya MF'er's... You're watching us? We'll watch ya right back! Knowing that the resource wars have begun, the goverment with the best "toys" wins! One other small point of interest: Water will become the "oil" of the 21st Century! The consumption and scarcity of it is proof enough!
Those Democratic Nominees: They twist & shout "Socialism!" to the same ol' tune, knowing that none of it will work. Bush, on the other hand, just scares the hell out of me; he thinks he can convert the world to embrace a democratic system at taxpayers' expense. Nice choice we have; when I say the multinational corporations own us, how in the hell can you deny it? Their motto is: Today's Bad. Let's make tommorrow worse! Long term goal? If I told you, they'd whack me!
The Water Issue? Despite the many unmistakable warning signs, the silence from Washington continues to deafen: No national commission on water usage policy, not a peep concerning proactive regional and national watershed management, no mandates for community water conservation or recycling by industry. Dwindling GLOBAL, I repeat, GLOBAL water reserves are never really mentioned. Our big blue planet may appear 70% bathed in oceans, but you can't drink seawater or use it to irrigate crops. Nevertheless... drawing on relatively limited amounts of accessible freshwater, since 1950 humanity has more than tripled its water use worldwide! Its time to address this fact; it may already be too late. The Ancient Mariner's message could portend a thirsty future. "Water,water,everywhere/Nor any drop to drink." Think about it... I do.
This is very hard to explain; could it be that what's actually taking place, the rush to the bottom... is by design? Let's assume for a minute that shipping our manufacturing base to China has a two-fold purpose? First, China must consume more energy to produce more goods, correct? Then, they must feed and house their population at the same time, correct? Rememeber, it takes energy, a lot of it, to do all of this... as they exhaust, consume and extract fossil fuels at a higher rate, what's happening in America at the same time? Loss of jobs, anger, frustration and of course bewilderment among its people, correct? Now let's look a few years down the road... when our "blue-collar" industry is at the point of no return... think now, what's happened to those once powerful union bosses? GONE... what's happened to all those wonderful benefit packages the unions once enjoyed? GONE... Now fast-forward to China's coming energy crunch. Could America make a "Great Comeback" with an uneducated workforce and a lower wage scale? You bet they can. Could it be that you have to destroy a manufacturing base before you can rebuild it - to suit the "New America"? Understanding that we are now facing a real resource war, who wins... the one that can WITHSTAND CONSUMPTION THE BEST??... Something else: right now, today, we give the Asian Rim tiny pieces of paper for goods, right? In exchange, what do they really get? Think about it! And don't tell me America won't work cheap... hell pal, they'll be begging for work, time is on the neo's side; don't ever forget it!
Orwell vs. Huxley: Orwell feared books would be banned. Huxley feared that there would be no reason to ban a book, for there would be no one who wanted to read one. Orwell feared those who would deprive us of information. Huxley feared those who would give us so much that we would be reduced to passivity and egoism. Orwell feared that the truth would be concealed from us. Huxley feared we would become a trival culture, preoccupied with some equivalent of the feelies, the orgy porgy and the centrifugal bumblepuppy. Orwell feared that what we hate will ruin us. Huxley feared that what we love will ruin us. Take your choice here - I know what you're thinking. "Either way, they gotcha." Maybe you - never me!
Cuyahoga County Property Taxes: Over $100 Million Dollars outstanding throughout our community. The collection of this massive amount will no doubt become very difficult in the months to come; homeowners and business alike face the same dilemma - they simply can't pay their "obligated" personal property tax bill. Loss of revenue will continue to drain our region, its stability and its future long term goals... overtaxation is the core issue. You simply cannot continue to levy a heavy tax burden on those who invest in the community and LOSE the ability to create jobs where they live, or keep what industry IS left! This County deserves better. By sitting on the sidelines, we will insure that nothing but the same will continue; that I can predict with 100% accuracy... just look around! We must have a "bottom-up" political challenge rather than a "top-down" challenge, begining with a real grassroots democracy. Let's think outside the box for a change! Go ahead, ask me...I have much to show, tell and prove on this very serious issue. Find out for yourselves, what those who hold office DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW!! We can't recreate the past, but we can confront the future.
USA is being "programmed" for the next two decades. It's beyond comprehension for the ill-informed! Don't ever deny what I expose. The NAFTA of the Americas is a breath away.
Cleveland's Quiet Crisis: Building big boxes won't work. Displacing the poor for upper-middle class white folks only will suck more out of the taxpayers that still have jobs, and meetings behind closed doors will not solve anything. Open discussion is a must; our community is at stake, and time is not on our side. Something else, my fickle friends: you were trained to be consumers... it's time to become CITIZENS!!
Wall Street: The stakes have never been higher. Future shockwaves will make the Street rumble. (With all the Alice in Wonderland bookkeeping happening... bet on it!) No one addresses that fact, let alone profit margins (slim at best)... real growth in our economy will be tested as never before. The stone in the shoe? Consumer debt! The ROCKSLIDE? Energy costs! Blackout 2003... Name me the Federal agency that's in charge of actually seeing the upgrades begin within our powergrid, and of course, just how will it be paid for?
Trade Unions are not Socialism: They are the Capitalism of the Proletriat -- George Bernard Shaw.
Russia: The Bear ain't Dead! They want our technology, and they'll get it... to insure the flow of oil. History has proven the toughness of the Russian people. A nation that has some seventeen different time zones, an abundant amount of natural resources within its land mass, and a memory of their history is a giant among us! Indeed, America must not short-sell Putin!
The Clinton Question: Will she or won't she...? only her hairdresser knows for sure. Why speculate? If she runs, she runs, and her infamous husband will be right where he wants to be, along with the agenda; Left or Right, the agenda always exists, at the expense of our Constitution, our Bill of Rights and our Future!
Never underestimate the Third World. Today's superpower could become tommorrow's conquered state.
An old proverb: A man whose only tool is a hammer analyzes every problem in terms of nails!
How noiseless is thought,it will not rule over, but in all heads, and with solitary combinations of ideas. As with magic formulas, bend the world to its will. From Thomas Carlyle.
The ignorance of the people is the footstool of despotism.
Our great danger lies in the radical tendency which has become so wide, deep, and active in the American people. Ceasing to regard anything as sacred or venerable, spurning what is old, breaking what is fixed, setting adrift all religious, domestic, and social institutions, we borrow nothing from the past and ignore the data of experience. We even try to deny that language has exact meaning. The majority of the American people may not approve this radical tendency, but they are SILENT before the ambitious enthusiasts and competing politicans. We shall not escape from this deluge of change and perilous experiment until we recognize the principle of authority: God's authority. The attack on our Creator is beyond apprehension.
Conservatism's "hurricane-fanned ignorance" has put every American in Limbo... Our nation's policies may literally shatter the dreams of our grandchildren! Ignorance is their dogma!
Philosophers are men hired by the well-to-do to prove that everything is alright. Source: Brooks Adams, brother of Henry Adams, to Judge Oliver Wendell Holmes.
Health-Care: CAUTION!!! When you hear these politicans speak on this very critical issue, which gets worse with each passing day, think about the Veterans Administration... then ask THE question: Why is THEIR PLAN better than our own VETS' plan! Will someone explain that to me! It's about goddamn time, ain't it!
Disgruntled Conservatives: You might consider getting a "nonconformist conscience"... I know that's difficult to do, since you thought the "Fire-Drill" they did back in your school days was for your own well-being; in actuality it was a lesson, never to challenge authority! Like I always say, think about it, If you still can!
Trickle-Down Economics really is warm piss.
Frankencorporations: In America, they last longer than people; people perish. China understands how America's corporations work - they've studied them. The magic of China is this: inexpensive labor, no pension benefits; or, in my words... cheap to feed & cheap to keep. Next question for you dummies: How much energy will they use? Think hard before you e-mail me your answers... One other small item. Labor cannot understand since 1947... managment and Wall Street control their pension funds! Can America's workforce get reeducated fast enough? I have my doubts. Proof? Temps... they don't organize, they don't demand anything... if you still own an American company, who in the hell would you hire? Get the point? I hope so.
The neo-elites have entered a phase of what I call "Imperial Overstretch." The reality of today is that our national security and prosperity depends on the health of the world-system, and the health of that system depends on the wisdom, strength and foresight of American foreign policy.
Media Bias? For those of you that continue to hammer the local media about our message & site here in Cleveland, anyone can talk for two minutes - try it for some 28 years, and then tell me, what have you won? The game is rigged. Understand that and just maybe you'll book a win. In politics, nothing is as it appears to be. For you college students: learn this lesson early... It's all about POWER, not money!
The Coming Natural Gas Crisis: Resource wars... not an "if" but a "when." Some of us already know the date and time. Do you? I doubt it. In the coming months you'll see it first hand.
The energy issue will develop into a bigger crisis, including Natural Gas... At this very moment all I can share with you is this: America will need a de-centralized energy program. Producer and consumer must become one. This business of the transmission of power is masking the real core issue of the generation problem. Since 1987 it has all been about lowering labor cost. Maximizing profits is their only goal... remember Enron? One other small note: Agriculture's consumption of fuels makes farming another issue on my radar screen. Food production prices will escalate. (Want more? Get me elected!)
The difference between me and those professional politicans is this: they constantly critcize, condemn and drool on and on... rather than finding real solutions that will work!
