Converting to Wind-Turbine energy must be considered very seriously for our future energy needs. Having the biggest asset at our doorstep (Lake Erie) makes us a "Water Belt", rather than a "Rust Belt." It can give us the tremendous ability to secure a safe, abundant, renewable energy source. Energy will become our greatest issue in this coming decade!
 
Globalization is no longer a "future" goal, but rather an emerging reality. At no time in history have so many human beings around the world been so dependent on so few institutions for their survival and well-being. Those institutions, in turn, are dependent on the continuous flow of fossil fuels... especially oil... that moves each & every aspect of modern life!

There's not a radio-station program director in America that can put a leash on me... They can't handle the truth... is anybody talking about the vast financial networks that Saudia Arabia has throughout the world? Funding these terrorist organization IS big business. Just before Thanksgiving... President Bush, under the wonderful NAFTA agreement, signed on with the Right of Authority to give Mexican Common Carriers full access to haul their goods throughout America... under this "plan" after 30 days the DOT (Department of Transportation) grants approval to those that meet the standards... It's not the trucks that concern us... it's just whats in them! Just what are they thinking in Washington? we already can't protect our borders. And now we've given access to Mexican Trucking firms!

Wall Street keeps hanging on, hanging on by a thread... it's being carried along by unwarranted optimism, not economic facts! Looking always for better earnings with hope, not statistics... The promise of Globalization as the engine of prosperity has really become a dilemma worldwide. The European-led IMF is looking at the Bush administration as a real threat of a global depression. Case in point: any sudden collapse in the dollar would lead a crisis of confidence. To quote Dr. Greenspan, "We're being pounded by every economic shock"... Speculation about future fuel prices looms heavily, along with those underfunded pension plans, Social Security, the aging crisis, the health & welfare programs... the list of problems is long, the list of solutions short. Remember, we now reside on a "global plantantion"... by design!
 
Here in Cleveland, Lord knows how passionate everyone is about sports. If we could extract that passion and direct it towards politics, getting them involved with what's actually taking place in our world today... explaining the who, what, where, when and the why's, just maybe we could chalk it up as a real win.... in a game in which we all have a stake. No high price players, no free agents, no contracts to hammer out, no taxpayers dollars to build a playhouse for these "millionaires in game outfits"... (Sounds like those that hold office right now,doesn't it? The Game I'm speaking about is the future of the United States of America... and all it confronts today. So, sports fans... wanna play?)
 
James Forrestal, the First Secretary of Defense, was told over a half- century ago that the United States was defenseless against germ warfare. Over the next five decades, a series of American presidents confronted the problem, considered various remedies, and all of them shuffled the issue into the "too-hard box"... Back in 1949 Forrestal's statement was, and I quote: "Prompt action should be taken to establish a civil defense program, plans should be prepared for the establishment of adequate laboratory and vaccine production facilities and stockpiles of essential basic medical supplies in the event the danger from enemy attack appears imminent." Let's fast forward to today; do you see any improvements on this issue in your hometown?
 
Yes, it's still true: Money donated by those "non-elected" bodies get their agenda done, every day, all day. Left or Right, its still about the dollars... always the dollars. Example: Donate twenty bucks, how much bang you gonna get... going against the fella that writes a check for, let's say, twenty thousand or more. Whose ear is getting bent here? Betcha it ain't yours! Another thing... get prepared for what I call an "upstairs-downstairs" economy. Most of you have a reservation in the basement. Get used to it!

Technology, genetically engineering bacteria and viruses have arrived! The lack of resources to study pathogens and understand how they operate, or to do other basic antibiotic and antiviral research... "the bugs have become smarter than we are" in Microbiology! Do not question me on this... it's more than you can handle.
